Special Exhibition of the Guiding Kannon from the Heian Period

Details
On the 16th of every month, a prayer ceremony is held in front of the sacred object. The Guiding Kannon statue is specially exhibited. During the Kozui Kajii ritual, participants receive clear water from the sacred well associated with En no Gyoja on their foreheads and fingertips. On October 16th, a simplified ritual called Dosha Kajii is conducted, where the power of the Komyou Shingon mantra is infused into pure white sand.
