This representative festival of Yamato, with over a thousand years of history, is held in autumn after the harvest between Sōsha Mizukari Shrine and Uda Mizukari Shrine. Mizukari refers to water distribution, a precious resource revered by farmers for agriculture. The event features a procession of approximately 200 people in period costumes traveling a 12 km round trip. The parade includes a portable shrine (mikoshi), spears (keiso), flower baskets (hanagō), and portable shrine drums (mikoshi taiko). The scene resembles a Tenpyo period picture scroll.
