Annual autumn festival at Meiji Shrine to honor and dispose of old dolls.

Details
This 38th edition event allows participants to express gratitude to dolls they could not dispose of, appeasing their spirits. The main ceremony features a kagura performance by shrine maidens in elegant attire. Approximately 6,900 visitors and 41,000 dolls were recorded in the previous year. A memorial exhibition is held at the shrine office. The sight of dolls lining the corridor is a notable feature.
