Details
The event offers a comprehensive day dedicated to the sounds of Japan, including a lecture on the charm of Japanese traditional music created by percussion and flutes, and a special performance combining Shamisen with Piano. An instrument experience corner provides opportunities to play the Shamisen, Small Drum, Large Drum, and Flute, with approximately 10 minutes allocated per participant. An exhibition of Japanese instruments is also available for viewing. Please note that preschool children are requested to refrain from participating in instrument experiences and performances. The event takes place in the Stones Hall, Providence Hall, Exchange Plaza, and Gallery. Admission requires a pass for access to all events, and reservations for specific performances are not accepted. Parking is not available on campus; public transportation is recommended.
