About this event
SummaryVisit the Hattatsu-san Shrine for prayers regarding business prosperity and family safety on the Day of the Dragon.
Details
The Hattatsu-san Shrine is dedicated to business prosperity and family safety. The term "Shōhatsu" (or "Hatsuchin") refers to the first day of the month that falls on the Day of the Dragon (Tatsu no Hi). It is believed that praying at this shrine on this specific day will provide greater protection and assistance. This practice is based on the concept of "Shisshō Hattatsu," meaning continuous growth and development. Completing 48 visits over a period of four years is considered fulfilling the vow, signifying a period of safety and progress. Many people visit from afar seeking business prosperity, and the shrine is very crowded with numerous worshippers from early morning.
