Minoh Fortune is a traditional event and the origin of the lottery, revived in 2009.

Details
Minoh Fortune, the origin of the current lottery, dates back approximately 950 years. It gained immense popularity during the Edo period and continued in the Meiji period in the form of Manin Koji. In 2009, it was revived in its traditional form. Participants who win receive a special talisman called Daifuku Talisman and a Benzaiten Shofuku Amulet. Participants also receive viewing tickets for the limited-time open Guest Hall and Phoenix Hall, which are registered tangible cultural properties of the country.
