The Kamiguchi Choeemon Kiln, a renowned Kutani-yaki manufacturer, is holding its annual "Rokuro Matsuri (Potter's Wheel Festival)" to express gratitude for the potter's wheel, an essential tool in ceramics production. This year marks the third time the event is being held under the new name "Rokuro to Kuma no Matsuri (Potter's Wheel and Bear Festival)". The festival features guided factory tours that offer a glimpse into the process of creating Kutani-yaki. Visitors can purchase exclusive items specifically for the "Rokuro to Kuma no Matsuri". A "Nendo Hikeage Taikai" (Clay Pulling Competition) is available for adult participants. Additionally, the event includes a variety of food and goods for sale from vendors located throughout Ishikawa Prefecture and across Japan.
