Summary
Experience the preserved interior of the Hiroshima Atomic Bombing Tram, a historic witness to the city's resilience and recovery.

Details
The Hiroshima Electric Railway 650 series train (No. 654) survived the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945, and continued operating in Hiroshima until June 2006. While the exterior was restored to its 1945 appearance in 2015 to commemorate the 70th anniversary, the interior remains exactly as it was at the time of retirement. Visitors can view the interior to understand the tram's journey alongside the city's reconstruction. Please note that access to the driver's compartment is not permitted.
