The event, titled "Yakiimo Hiroba" (Sweet Potato Square), is held at the Central Square of Azabudai Hills. It features a variety of roasted sweet potatoes, including rare varieties like "Izumi" and "Beni Haruka," as well as roasted chestnuts from Kasama City. Notable participants include "Owari Imoya Imoyoshi," a Grand Prix winner offering championship roasted sweet potatoes, and "Kasama Chestnut Roasted Chestnuts" serving freshly roasted nuts. A specialty store from Kasama City offers an exquisite Mont Blanc pastry made with chestnuts ground to 0.5 millimeters. The event also includes a mobile sales vehicle offering stone-baked sweet potatoes and a sweet potato cafe serving dishes made with traditional leaf compost.
