Organized by the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives and the SAKANA & JAPAN FESTIVAL Organizing Committee, this festival aims to revitalize seafood consumption and support Japan's fishing industry. The event showcases a wide array of premium ingredients including tuna, salmon, nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch), sea urchin, crab, scallops, oysters, and salmon roe. Visitors can enjoy fresh seafood bowls with seasonal ingredients, traditional fishermen's meals, regional local specialties, seafood ramen, and seafood paella blending Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines. The venue features approximately 80 booths, including those from the concurrent competition. Special menu items and exclusive offerings are available. The event includes stage performances and educational experiences designed to inspire appreciation for domestic seafood and encourage visits to producing regions. This marks the festival's return to the Odaiba area after a two-year absence, continuing its legacy since its inception in 2016.
