This event presents the historical Tokugawa shoguns related to the 'Jousuiki' (also referred to as 'Uzumaki-ki'), which are actual records of the Edo period water supply systems. The 'Uzumaki-ki' is an ancient document designated as a tangible cultural property by Tokyo. The exhibition introduces the 11th shogun, Ienari, and other historical Tokugawa shoguns, detailing their connection to the water supply of Edo. Concurrently, the event features the 'Water Supply History Exhibition: Retracing the Founding Period of the Kinmachō Water Purification Plant - 100 Years Since Water Supply Started'. This section reflects on the history of the Kinmachō Water Purification Plant, which has reached 100 years since the start of water supply, through the use of photographs and publications.
