Details
The exhibition conveys the message that "even though we live in the same world, living creatures shine with their own unique 'colors.'" This theme is realized through the vibrant collage art of Eric Carle and the "real lives" thriving within the aquarium. The "Kumanomiru Room" (or "Clownfish Room") features an "Art and Color" section introducing the vivid colors and unique patterns of various creatures, alongside a "Camouflage and Observation" (or "Mimicry and Observation") section allowing close observation of how animals blend into their surroundings. Decorative panels featuring Carle's illustrations and informational panels about the animals are placed near the aquarium tanks. Visitors can enjoy limited-edition menus and merchandise themed around "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" throughout the aquarium.
