This event, titled 'MoON MONTH - A Month of Waiting for the Moon,' is a collaboration between MoN Takanawa and TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY. It brings the historical custom of 'Twenty-Sixth Night Waiting' to a contemporary audience. The program features art, gourmet food, music, and interactive exhibits throughout the district. Notable attractions include an immersive planetarium show called 'Tsukiyo no Yoi' (Evening of Moon Viewing) created by Takayuki Ohira and narrated by Kenshiro Tsuda. Visitors can view the ukiyo-e painting 'Shinagawa no Tsuki' by Kita-gawa Kagemaro on a tatami mat. The event includes a workshop to create moon drawings using ink made from plants, a stargazing session, and a tasting of 'doburoku' (traditional unfiltered sake). Actors in Edo-period attire will stroll through the venue. The cafe and restaurants will offer special items such as 'Moon Waiting Mitarashi Smoothie' and 'Moon Cocktails'.
