This exhibition was planned and produced by museum trainees participating in the 2023 museum internship program. The interns selected exhibition materials from the museum's collection, considered the exhibition structure, and created explanatory panels and captions. They engaged in all practical tasks related to the exhibition, from displaying materials to setting up the display. The exhibition focuses on ear ornaments excavated from the Ishigami shell mound in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture. It highlights the diversity of ornaments worn by people during the Jomon period, focusing on their shape, size, and coloring. The collection includes 10 Jomon-period clay ear ornaments.
