Visitors are invited to gently touch the artist's works and imagine the creative process. Sculptor Daiki Nishimura, born in 1986, developed his unique technique while working in abandoned bamboo groves in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture. His method involves gluing cut bamboo pieces together and then carving them into shapes. The resulting sculptures coexist with intricate beauty and a friendly, humorous atmosphere. The exhibition showcases many of Nishimura's bamboo works in a tactile format that allows visitors to experience the art through touch.
