This exhibition showcases the first solo collection of patchwork quilt works by textile artist Matsumi Yasumoto. The artist creates art using fabrics while engaging in musical activities, volunteer work, and other endeavors. The collection features quilted works made from fabrics dyed with cherry blossoms and antique cloth. Yasumoto harmonizes old kimono fabrics and textiles from both domestic and international sources to continue creating new works.
