Details
This annual open house event is hosted by Kurose Shuzou, a renowned brewery located at the source of the Chikusui River. The brewery produces the famous sake brands Itotsubo and Kurose. The event takes place just before the main sake brewing season begins, following the rice harvest and the start of rice milling operations. Visitors can enjoy the finest autumn sake produced during this harvest period. The event features a dedicated sake tasting corridor where guests can sample various brews. A guided tour of the brewery facilities allows attendees to see the production process. A traditional bar serves sake warmed in an iron kettle, known as an O-kama Bar. Complimentary snacks and natural drinks are available for purchase. There is also a special corner dedicated to selling the brewery's proudest sake products. The event offers a unique opportunity to experience the culture of sake brewing in a relaxed atmosphere.
