The event takes place at the Yatsugatake Agricultural University, where the school produces approximately 10,000 pumpkins annually. The vibrant orange hues are cultivated by the pristine natural environment at an altitude of 1,300 meters, benefiting from significant temperature fluctuations. The lawn area and direct sales shop are decorated with the pumpkins, and a special photo spot is surrounded by real pumpkins of various sizes. Visitors can enjoy local gourmet food, including signature premium bacon cured for approximately 10 times longer than usual, and soft-serve ice cream made with 100% fresh milk. The event also features a tasting of draft beer from the "Eight Peaks" craft brewery in Chino City, along with local sake and wine from the Suwa region.
