Details
The festival takes place every year on the first Saturday of October. The core attraction is the Ohayashi, a traditional music performance consisting of thirteen distinct songs. Notable pieces in the repertoire include "Noe no Yama," "Sakura," and "Gion Bayashi." These songs are played in rotation using traditional instruments such as the flute, drums, and shamisen. Musicians perform while walking back and forth along the designated route. The event concludes with a fireworks show.
