The Koshi Autumn Festival is held in conjunction with the Kanname Festival of Koshi Shrine, which is revered as the guardian deity of the Fuji Station shopping district located on Fujihoncho Street. The street is closed to traffic, creating a pedestrian zone filled with various stalls and exciting events. The festival includes a parade of stalls and a competition of drums, including those from neighboring towns. Enjoy the powerful music of skilled performers who have inherited the tradition, as well as the fresh and lively music played by the children who are carrying on that tradition. Please be careful while walking as construction is taking place at the venue near the station.
