Details
The program is supervised by Yuhiro Anai, a researcher of Claude Monet. It introduces the milestones of Monet's life alongside his numerous masterpieces. The program uses the latest AI technology to extend the representation beyond the canvas, allowing viewers to literally witness the world seen by Monet. The projection envelops the entire field of vision with Monet's colors. The adjacent shop, Gallery Planetaria, will sell merchandise inspired by Monet's paintings, including original magnets featuring four iconic scenes from the exhibition, as well as cosmetics and stationery inspired by his paintings. The adjacent cafe, Cafe Planetaria, offers limited-menu items inspired by Monet's masterpieces. Water Lilies is a non-alcoholic drink characterized by its beautiful color that changes from blue to purple when mixed, decorated with a pentas flower and accented with colored tapioca and jelly. Monet's Pancake is a special pancake inspired by the masterpiece Woman with a Parasol, coated with butterfly pea chocolate and served with an edible Monet painting, mixed berries, and whipped cream. This exhibition features assigned seating. Photography is not permitted during the main show. Photography within the dome is only allowed during entry and exit. This exhibition features narration in Japanese. Audio guides in other languages are not available. This exhibition is a visual work primarily composed of Monet's paintings.
