This grand chrysanthemum exhibition boasts one of the largest scales in Japan in terms of the number of entries and variety of exhibits. It serves as both a dedication ceremony and a judging competition, featuring numerous masterpieces cultivated with care by chrysanthemum enthusiasts from within and outside the prefecture. The grounds are adorned with a variety of splendid chrysanthemums, including large chrysanthemums with multiple blooms, classic medium-sized chrysanthemums, and bonsai. Among these, the Grand Landscape Flowerbed, created annually with a different theme using 30,000 small chrysanthemum seedlings, is particularly popular for its dynamic and impressive display.
