The event takes place at the Sunshine 60 Observatory, a registered location on the "100 Famous Moon Viewing Spots in Japan," located in Tenbo Park (Ikebukuro, Tokyo). The venue is decorated with vibrant maple and ginkgo trees, osmanthus, and orange scents, along with autumn-themed background music like cricket sounds. A "Sky Park" area features artificial turf for comfortable seating. On the day of the Corn Moon viewing, the moon is projected onto a monitor via a mirrorless camera attached to a telescope, allowing detailed observation of lunar features. A lecture teaches attendees how to take beautiful photos of the moon using their own smartphones or cameras. The Tenbo Park Cafe offers limited-time special items, including a matcha latte with a rabbit silhouette and a corn-themed baked bread with mayonnaise and cheese. Admission includes the regular observatory entrance fee. Weather conditions may affect visibility or cause cancellations.
