About this event
SummaryStephen Gill's exhibition presents 36 experimental photographs exploring the shift from documenting the world to creating images in collaboration with it.
Highlights
• Features works including "Hackney Flowers," "Talking to Ants," "The Pillar," and "Please Notify the Sun."
• Showcases the artist's approach of relinquishing control to let nature and chance shape the work.
• Includes "The Pillar" series, depicting a stake in farmland, a bird, and a motion-sensor camera creating accidental photographs.
• Demonstrates the concept of creating the situation where photographs are born rather than controlling the photographic act.
