Details
The exhibition features a new series of works that trace the story of a woman linking Kure with Melbourne. This project spans from the postwar era to the present, bridging the distance between the artist's hometown and Australia. The series is inspired by a message received nine years prior regarding a Japanese woman in Melbourne, leading to a narrative where mysteries multiply with every discovery. The works reflect a global journey similar to previous projects like "Saudade" and "Life Studies," utilizing the camera's viewfinder to interweave stories and mark a shifting tide in the artist's work.
