- Rubbing materials collected by researcher Juro Takada
- Insights into Nara during the Taisho and Showa periods

Details
This exhibition features rare, original manuscripts and rubbings from the legendary 'Nara Zappitsu' (Nara Miscellany). The collection was compiled by Juro Takada (1881-1952), an educator at Nara Prefectural Normal School who conducted extensive research on history, art, and folklore. Although mentioned by researchers of that era, the handwritten notebooks remained unpublished and became a phantom existence. The event displays the phantom manuscript along with rubbing materials (takubon) gathered by Takada during his research, offering a glimpse into the accumulated information of Nara from the Taisho to Showa periods. Two related lectures will also be held during the exhibition period. Please check the website for details.
