The event takes place in Oishida Town, a location renowned for its soba and selected as one of Japan's 100 Fragrant Landscapes. The star of the show is 'Raigoji Zairai', a specific variety of buckw wheat cultivated exclusively for this occasion with a history spanning over 130 years. Visitors can enjoy the uncompromising quality of hand-made soba that showcases the unique aroma and sweetness of the new crop. In addition to the culinary experience, the event features a soba-making demonstration corner, a local product fair, and a cultural performance of the traditional Hanagasa dance.
