The event aims to foster appreciation for Nagauta music in Miyama City, the birthplace of Living National Treasure Kiyotsugu Tateya. Participants can join the "First Shamisen Course" for beginners or the "Dreams of Youth" course for experienced players. A shakuhachi course is also available for those wishing to play alongside shamisen. The program includes guidance, practice sessions, and a final rehearsal before the festival. Refunds are only issued if the organizers cancel or postpone the course due to low participation or other reasons.

September 6 to November 15, 2026. Sessions include guidance, five practice sessions, a rehearsal, and the final performance at the Miyama City General Civic Center.
Line-up
Performers include Kiyotsugu Tateya, Kiyotsugu Tateya-tomo, and Mitsuko Wakamatsu. The festival features the Kiyotsukai group and professional musicians from the Nagauta Kishikatsu Association performing pieces such as Hanami Odori, Waki no Yume, and a finale of famous Nagauta pieces.
