This event brings to life the era known as the 'Ant Pilgrimage to Kumano' through a traditional Heian period procession. On the day of the event, a group dressed in Heian-era clothing will walk along the historic Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route located in the Takahara area. The organizers are recruiting participants including adult men, adult women, boys, and girls to join the walk. Interested individuals are required to make reservations by contacting the Kumano Kodo Hall via phone to register for the event. Participants are encouraged to experience the historical atmosphere by dressing in Heian-era clothing and walking the ancient path themselves.
