Details
This is the largest festival in Isehara, dedicated to Takeda Nobutsuna, a warrior who spent his final years in the city. On the second day, the event features the "Takeda Nobutsuna Falconry Procession and Hojo Masako Pilgrimage to Higashi Yakushi Temple." The role of Nobutsuna is performed by Minoru Kishihara, a meteorologist and disaster prevention expert, while Masako is portrayed by actress and model Tomoka Kurotani. Additionally, after a three-year break, the festival will host the "O-bashira-sato-biki," a traditional event involving the pulling of wooden pillars, brought from Chino City in Nagano Prefecture, along with various other cultural activities.
