This unique event celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Domestic Ham Festival, where producers from all over Japan showcase their carefully crafted, long-cured hams. The festival is divided into two sessions to ensure everyone can experience the product. Participants can start with a selection of six varieties and then purchase their favorites directly from each workshop. Tasting tickets are available in limited quantities, with options for all four groups (A to D) or a specific six-variety ticket. If two or three tickets are purchased, a tasting ticket for a different group is provided. The event features a variety of other vendors, including a popular local bakery, several types of domestic cheese, whiskey from Hokkaido's Rishiri Island, highly-rated craft beer from Kanagawa Prefecture, wasabi mustard from Niigata's Uonuma region, sake, and wine.
