Details
Presented by the Kadokawa Culture Promotion Foundation with support from the University of Tokyo and the Meguro Parasitological Museum, this exhibition features valuable materials from the Edo period. It examines the changing meaning of "mushi" (insects) across time and cultures, displaying items that were once classified as insects but are not today, such as lizards, spiders, frogs, and shrimp. Visitors can view historical works, natural history illustrations, and actual parasite specimens to understand how humans have classified and interpreted the natural world.
