About this event
SummaryOriginal music performance fusing traditional Japanese wadaiko drums with ethnic instruments from South America.
Details
The group was founded in Kobe in 1995 to encourage those affected by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and convey the energy of the city's recovery. They pursue the essence of wadaiko sound while integrating it with marimba, ocarina, and ethnic instruments from the Andes of South America to create a unique sound. Their activities have expanded beyond Japan to include concert performances in Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and South Korea. This year, they will present original music under the theme "Kokyo Shinsho" (New Chapter of Resonance).
