Details
This event is a Christmas concert designed to bring classical music closer to children through encounters with real artists. The program is divided into two parts. The first part features ensemble performances and explanations about instruments to introduce their unique sounds and characteristics. The second part brings the world of "The Sleeping Beauty" to life through narration by Kazumi Takayama, known for her role as Shizuka in "Doraemon," accompanied by the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. The stage is adorned with fantastical paper cutouts created by artist Ayano Sagawa, which use light and shadow to vividly depict the story. On the same day, a Christmas market is held throughout the Session Suginami building. Before and after the concert, attendees can enjoy gourmet food from food trucks, participate in workshops, and play free games.
