The event takes place at The Edible Park OTEMACHI by grow, a rooftop farm in Otemachi, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo. It highlights the historical connection between the Kanda area and indigo dating back to the Edo period. Participants can learn about indigo cultivation and dyeing history through a talk featuring Takumi Matsu, an experienced indigo farmer who previously supervised production for the NHK Taiga drama "Tenchijin". A brewer from Phoenix Cider & Brewing will lead a session on creating indigo-infused beverages. The event also showcases the "Kanda Ai Project," an initiative by the NPO Corporation Kanda Indigo Association to integrate local agriculture with urban life. Attendees can experience the circular economy by tasting rice grown with indigo waste and purchasing related products. The event is sponsored by Chiyoda Ward and organized by Plantio Co., Ltd. Participation requires a smartphone or tablet and the "grow" app. Non-alcoholic options are available for those under 20 or driving. The venue is accessible via the Marunouchi Point App and requires a specific coupon code for entry.
