About this event
SummaryExperience "Night Crack", a unique audiovisual event at Shinjuku WILD SIDE TOKYO featuring four live acts blending live instrumentation, electronic music, and visual performance.
Line-up
- nego
- hobnob
- Hello11D3
- ΣKIYM
Details
The event showcases four distinct approaches to audiovisual live music. nego, formed in 2008, combines violin, guitar, bass, tabla, percussion, and electronic elements with live visuals by VJ mitchel, creating a "human-powered techno" sound. For this event, they are joined by Miya-zoi Aki on drums, KUMA-CHANG on percussion, and chamois on vocals. hobnob is an audiovisual trio consisting of electronic musician Hiko Fukuda, drummer Tenten, and photographer/filmmaker Ren Yano, exploring the relationship between human and machine through improvisation and visuals. Hello11D3, a project by Hello1103 and drummer Hideo Oonishi, integrates modular synthesis, live drums, and VJ. ΣKIYM, also a member of nego, presents a solo performance based on "visualizing sound" combining live instrumentation with original visuals. The event utilizes the venue's large LED screen spanning the back of the stage to incorporate visual elements into every performance.
