Details
This event presents a new concept distinct from previous collaborations (2017, 2018, 2023) by replacing electric instruments with a traditional Japanese ensemble. The performance showcases the fusion of "Vocaloid music" sung by virtual artists like Hatsune Miku with the live sounds of the taiko ensemble Kodo. Key performers include Kodo, Kikitake Masako (Koto), and Fujii Rei (Shamisen). While the virtual singers will not be physically present, their songs are performed live to create a new musical landscape blending Japanese culture with modern technology. The event aims to highlight the "soul" of the collaboration while introducing a fresh auditory experience.
