Katsuemon Yamato is highly regarded for his heartwarming stories and frequent performances at theaters in Tokyo and across the country. His notable appearances include the film 'Spring of the Tofu Shop' and NHK historical dramas such as 'Berabou: Tsutashige Eikan no Yumebanashi' and 'Akinai Yoden: Kin to Gin 3', as well as the Fuji TV drama 'Black Trick'. The event is organized by the Asahikawa Rakugo Arts Association, sponsored by the Asahikawa Board of Education, and supported by Asahikawa Shou Nagaya.
