This exhibition features a collaboration between Yoichi Naoe, an anatomist and professor emeritus at the University of Tokyo known for his love of insects, and Kenji Kohiyama, an insect photographer who pioneered depth synthesis techniques. The event showcases Naoe's profound insights alongside Kohiyama's magnified images of insects, displayed on panels, in 3D exhibits, and via video footage of Naoe collecting insects. Visitors can observe intricate details of insects, some as small as a few millimeters, through ultra-close-up views that challenge perspectives on nature.
