Details
The event showcases a wide selection of Japanese sake, including 112 different varieties, alongside shochu and awamori. Local food vendors will serve traditional dishes such as Sanriku grilled squid, Yonezawa beef skewers, steamed oysters, beef tongue skewers, Hakata motsuyaki soba, and Aguu pork skewers. A special MC, Genso Hakoushou, a broadcast writer and Akita Prefecture PR media producer, will appear daily for limited-time mini-talks with brewery representatives to engage attendees. The event also features a brewery tour stamp rally where participants can collect stamps at participating breweries to win prizes in three tiers: classic sake items for 10 stamps, rare merchandise for 16 stamps, and luxurious items like T-shirts and aprons for 22 stamps. Note that the stamp rally resets if prizes are claimed for lower tiers. The event aims to bring together sake lovers and local food enthusiasts to rediscover the charm of sake and shochu through interactive experiences and tastings.
