About this event
SummaryAn exhibition of detailed drawings exploring the theme of entropy through new artistic mediums.
Highlights
• Transition from traditional pen drawings to mixed media
• Theme of inevitable change and disorganization
• Artist's personal reflection on life in Niigata
• Works reflecting a sense of being scattered and unfocused
• Commitment to continue creating despite potential collapse
Details
The artist, who has primarily worked with detailed drawings using pens, is exploring new forms of expression by incorporating different mediums into their work. This exhibition, themed 'Entropy', features disorganized and fragmented works that reflect the artist's realization that everything, including their style, living place, and self, changes inevitably. After spending several years in Niigata, the artist has been away for about a year and keenly feels the constant changes in their life. The works presented are chaotic and aimless, symbolizing a disorganized self. Even if the path leads to collapse, the artist will not stop walking, continuing chaotically and without restraint.
