• Historical scroll recreation amidst strait waves
• Exclusive viewing of upper-class ceremonial performances
• Traditional Japanese dance and formation displays
• Five-day limited special event experience

Details
The event presents a condensed history of Shimonoseki centered around the vermilion-painted Suitengumon gate, which reflects the wish of a nun who entered the water with Emperor Antoku. Entering the gate reveals a stage illuminated in front of the main hall that recreates a fantastical historical scroll appearing amidst the waves of the strait. Visitors can enjoy the 'Gaihachi Moji' (a type of ceremonial palanquin) and 'Nihon Buyo' (traditional Japanese dance) performed by upper-class performers. These specific performances are usually only visible during the Sen-tei Festival held on May 3rd every year, making this a unique opportunity to experience them from your seat during this special five-day limited event.
