Details
This exhibition presents a unique collection of original artworks, drafts, and figurines that were on display at the Go Nagai Memorial Museum in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture, at the time of the devastating January 1st, 2024 earthquake. Despite the blackened exterior of the museum building, fire-resistant measures allowed for the recovery of 108 original pieces. The event features these saved items alongside drafts from the museum's initial opening. Additionally, it includes new manga works created by Go Nagai for this specific occasion. With the full cooperation of Wajima City, the exhibition aims to support the reconstruction efforts and look toward the future of the Noto Peninsula region.
