Details
Tenzin Kunzang, a Tibetan singer based in Nagano, will showcase the rustic and rich tones of the damnyen, a traditional instrument and vocal style. His music has been featured in the anime "Tenmaku no Jadoogar" and the morning drama "Maiagare!". He is accompanied by Taro Terahara, a bansuri player who improvises alongside the music. Both musicians are longtime friends active domestically and internationally. The event includes a mini tour in Nagano and a screening of the documentary film "Children Crossing the Himalayas".
