Details
bohemianvoodoo is an instrumental band formed in Yokohama in 2008. Their free and refreshing sound is loved not only in Japan but also by listeners overseas. Many of their songs evoke various scenes and are inspired by the landscapes of their hometown, Yokohama. The band consists of four members: Nassy (bass), Kimuri Iori (piano, keyboards), bashiry (guitar), and Yamamoto Takuya (drums). They have performed at venues such as BLUE NOTE TOKYO, TOKYO JAZZ FESTIVAL, and Billboard Live.
The event takes place at Yokohama Zounohana Terrace, a cultural and tourism exchange hub located on the site of the origin of Yokohama Port. The venue features an all-glass restaurant space facing the sea, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy the music while taking in the beauty of the night sea and the Yokohama Bayfront scenery that has inspired the band's activities. The event is organized by the Yokohama Today Volunteer Team in collaboration with Zounohana Terrace, Playwright, and the Yokohama Jazz Research Group.
