Details
This event is organized in cooperation with the Kagoshima Prefecture branch of the Japan Bird Society and the Japan Bird Watching Association. Participants will gather at Cape Sata (also known as Satsuma-maki Cape) in Kagoshima Prefecture, a primary stopover for these birds during winter migration. The observation session is expected to last approximately 2 hours. The location is renowned as one of the best places in Japan to view these species. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own binoculars, though a limited number will be available for loan. The event offers a unique opportunity to witness the magnificent sight of these raptors soaring high in the sky during their migration journey.
