Details
The event is a special program for the Baraka Gallery Thanksgiving Festival 2026. It offers a unique opportunity to enjoy Tanzanian culture through imported goods and teas directly from East Africa. Participants can learn authentic Tinga Tinga art while incorporating Swahili language elements. Additionally, attendees can create their own shaker percussion instruments by learning from a gourd artisan. Gourds are native to Africa and are traditionally used as containers for water and alcohol, tableware, and musical instruments. Advance reservation is required for the gourd workshop.
