About this event

Summary
An exhibition exploring the ideal world represented by ancient Chinese mirrors.

Details
This exhibition uses the concept of "paradise" as a starting point to explore the museum's collection of mirrors. It interprets the ideal worlds depicted in the patterns of ancient Chinese mirrors in conjunction with related cultural contexts. "Paradise" represents a place free from suffering where people can live happily and contentedly, away from reality. The exhibition examines how ancient mirror patterns evoke this image of an ideal world.
