Details
The event is a traditional "Musha Gyoretsu" (warrior procession) held in conjunction with the 68th Kokura Castle Festival. About 30 warriors dressed in armor will lead a procession that tours the historic castle town. Actor Ken Mitsuishi, a native of Kitakyushu City, will serve as a special guest. The parade begins in front of the Kokura Castle main keep and proceeds along the Murasaki River, Riverwalk Kitakyushu, the Historical Path, and in front of the castle moat. This event creates a historical and festive atmosphere to mark the significant milestone of 10 million visitors.
