The event showcases a wide variety of traditional Japanese ceramics, including Ohhori Soma ware, Kasama ware, Echizen ware, Kutani ware, Mino ware, Seto ware, Tokoname ware, Shigaraki ware, Kiyomizu ware, Tamba ware, Bizen ware, Hagi ware, Arita ware, Imari ware, Karatsu ware, Hasami ware, and Satsuma ware. Visitors can participate in hands-on activities such as using a hand-operated potter's wheel, painting on unglazed ceramics, and learning the art of kintsugi. Skilled artisans will demonstrate pottery techniques throughout the fair. A national ceramics exhibition with the theme "Future Dining Tables" will be held, with a drawing for gifts to be conducted later. Purchasers of ceramics will receive shopping vouchers redeemable at stores affiliated with the Himeji City Shopping Street Association, with the voucher amount based on the weight of the purchased items. The event also coincides with the Himeji Wagashi Festival and the Himeji Castle Leather Festival, both held in the surrounding area.
